My top 05 would be :
1 Arthur Dayne , he was potrayed as one of the best fighter in the saga and now in the show
2 Selmy Barristan : We don't see him fight enough in the show but we all know that he was very strong in the past and he has protected the Mad King by killing a lot of opposants , Robert respected him because of his loyauty
3 Oberyn Martell : He was strong, smart and fast , he was famous by his abilities when it comes to poison and was portrayed as the Red Viper
4 Robert Baratheon : Robert didin't fight in the show but we know that he was a great fighter in the past , he wasn't a good ruler but was a great warrior
5 Drogo : he was just the most strong dothraki in the entire saga
6 Jaime Lannister : i agree here with your reasons
7 Brienne of Torth : she is really strong and fights with all her being
8 The Mountain : i prefere to give him this place cause if he is strong but he isn't really smart , he has been defeated by a smart Oberyn
