Game of Thrones had a long list of lost/underused characters. Fans have often wondered what happened to them, as the books aren’t complete yet. One of them was Michiel Huisman’s Daario Naharis. The handsome lover of Daenerys was last seen in the episode ‘The Winds of Winter’. Daenerys left her brave confidante in Meereen to maintain peace. Well, we didn’t get to see Daario again, but we can see Huisman return to the silver screen. Michiel Huisman will be seen in Zack Snyder’s sci-fi drama Rebel Moon.

How big of a movie is Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon?
Huisman seems awestruck at the massive scale of production of the upcoming sci-fi flick. He told ScreenRant: “It was an amazing opportunity, and, of course, very different experience. I ended up going literally from shooting Echo 3 to Los Angeles to prep for Rebel Moon, and it was a bit of a shock. You going from shooting a scene on a little island to stepping into the world that is Zack Snyder’s.”
“Imagine big sets, and yes, it’s a very different working environment, but how amazing to be able to do both. No, no, no, you started talking about the movie, and I’m like, Oh, no, I have to pay attention, because they really want to keep it under wraps. So, I am 100 percent sure that we’re going to talk about it probably soon, I think Rebel Moon is going to come out in December, so at some point in the fall, we’ll talk about Rebel Moon, and I’ll tell you a lot more, okay?”
What is Rebel Moon about?
The official synopsis of the film reads:
“When a colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.”
Huisman’s character has been kept under wraps so far, but judging by his involvement in production, he is certainly playing an important role.
Who is in the cast of Rebel Moon?
Besides Huisman, the cast of the movie also includes Djimon Hounsou, Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Ed Skrein, Jena Malone, Corey Stoll, Cary Elwes, and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of the battle robot Jimmy.
