This pressure led her to take a step back and reassess her career, but now she feels liberated from that pressure and is excited to take on new roles, like her latest project, Joan, where she plays a diamond thief and single mother. Sophie Turner, in an interview with The Times, said,
“Game of Thrones was such a big show that I felt like nothing I did next was going to be as good,” she says. “I went away for a little bit, so now I feel like I don’t have that pressure on me of everyone going, ‘What is she going to do next?’”
