The nervous giant meets the fearless kid

The lead actors of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell made their maiden appearance at the Dublin Comic Con on March 7, 2026. At the event, the duo held a panel where the host as well as fans were allowed to ask questions to them. Answering the host’s question regarding their first meet, Peter said,

“I remember meeting Dexter and we were like polar opposites. He was just completely chill, confident and I was ready to have a stroke. Like I was so nervous all the time but, it just worked!”

To this, Dexter added that he might’ve looked like that but [he was also nervous].

But, Peter dismissed it immediately in a whimsical manner saying “rubbish,” indicating that Dexter was infact genuinely chilled out.

The hosts as well as the fans shared a good laugh on this. This little revelation showcased the camarederie these two actors share despite their massive age difference. Their genuine bond has resulted in making their pair believably authentic on the screen too.
