Phoebe Campbell (Rhaena Targaryen) has nothing but praise for her co-star and on-screen father, Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen) and how his acting style has influenced their performance in Season 3.
Through an official HBO podcast, they especially talked about the confrontation scene between Rhaena and Daemon when she is revealed to be the rider of Sheepstealer.

“He’s such an amazing; as if people don’t know that, but amazing free actor that it does rub off on you. You’re like ‘oh there’s a level that I can play with this’ just because he’s so open to that.”
They explained that Smith’s openness and freedom as a performer encourages her to take more risks and explore deeper levels in their own work as Rhaena.

Campbell also shared a fun behind-the-scenes detail about their dynamic:
“And also just so funny being very tense and angry at Matt Smith. ‘What do you mean?’”
