Game of Thrones season 8 promises to answer all our GoT questions as the series comes to an end. Will Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen die? Will Jon finally ride Rhaegal? Will Westeros survive the Long Night and the War for the Dawn? What part does Bran, Arya, Sansa, and Winterfell have to play? We look at all of these Game of Thrones season 8 questions and more. Until we get a season 8 GoT teaser trailer this is what the hints tell us.
These Game of Thrones s8 predictions are based on what we’ve seen so far in the award winning series on HBO. There are no credible season 8 leaks and the GoT cast and crew have yet to start filming the final season. This is the perfect time to speculate on the ending of Game of Thrones, and this two-part video will look at all of the major events.
The Game of Thrones story will come to an end, but not before we see the Night King descend on Westeros. How will humanity survive, and how will Jon and Daenerys build an army to defeat them? Will Sam and Bran Stark the three eyed raven find hidden clues to help? Will Viserion and Drogon battle with only one dragon surviving? Does this mean that Daenerys will sacrifice her life to save humanity?
Let us know what your Game of Thrones season 8 predictions are in the comments. What are you most excited to see in GoT s8?

  1. Don't you think that maybe Drogon will be able to burn Viserion like Drogo did Viserys. A little flash back of that line Dany said in season 1, "He's not a dragon, dragons don't burn"?
And maybe Bran will warg into Drogon during that fight since Dany will be pregnant, and Rhaegal's rider will be Jon, since a dragon can only have one rider. Though technically Bran won't be literally riding Drogon, and GRRM once said in an interview that wargs can control beasts, and thus Bran 'flies' like the Blood Raven once said to him.

  2. Don't know if anyone said this, I think when it comes to proving he's Targaryen, instead of just riding the dragon, he will also be 'unburnt' like Dany, and be set on fire for some reason (accidental or otherwise).

  3. I thought there was a large lack of emotion in season 7 for so many reunions, etc.  For example, Jon finds out Arya and Bran are alive and at Winterfell barely showing any emotion.  In addition, matter of fact saying Bran has seen the Night King coming, etc.  Wouldn't Jon be curious or have more dialogue about all of this info???

  4. I still don't understand how they got the Giant One One in their group?  He was killed at Winterfell during the Ramsay battle.  I would think it would only be the dead who they were near as they died were resurrected??  I'm not sure how they would just resurrect all the buried and formerly deceased??

  5. I just hope there are some shockers. The idea that Jon and Danerys win the war for the dawn, have a baby and live happily ever after is crap, imo. I miss when GOT was shocking and showed more depth to the characters. And actually to me the most exciting characters and ideas are not the main two. What does the army of the dead and the NK really want? How is Bran involved and what will he do in this war? Same with Arya and Jaime. There's a reason they are there, have those skills, a golden hand, etc. Oh – and Melisandre and Varys!! I'm hoping she brings the red priests/priestesses with her from Volantis. Why will Varys die? These are the real interesting parts, to me anyway. Jon and Danerys – their stories have been spoon fed to us so much that we know exactly what will happen with them. Boring.

  6. I want to see Daenerys meet (and bond with) Ghost, at Winterfell. A sort of mirroring of the scene with Jon touching Drogon, although probably less fearful on Dany's end… afterall, she has these massive dragons, why would she be afraid of a fluffy little direwolf? They even share a hair colour. I bet they'd get along well. She might even let Ghost sleep up on the bed.

Do you think that Drogon can even harm Undead Viserion, with dragonfire? It would appear that Undead Viserion doesn't breathe ice so much as some sort of magical, blue flame. I wonder if Drogon (and possibly Rhaegal. Probably Rhaegal) will have to engage Undead Viserion in direct, mid-air tussles. Like, tear at him with their sharp teeth and talons, and roll and recover in mid-air, many times. There'll probably be some ground support from the humans, to finish him off. Maybe Bronn could man another version of the Scorpion, with bolts made with dragonglass inlaid into them, to finish Viserion off.

Also: Gendry totally needs to create some dragonrider armour, for Dany, to protect her from arrows. A helm, and some chainmail and/or scale and/or lamellar, dragonscale-themed pieces to cover the vital areas. Underside of legs and arms can't have much more than leather, as she needs them to grip onto Drogon… but if she gets an arrow in the leg or the arm, she can still manage to hold on. Overall, that could look soooooo badass (you know that showrunners will make it stylish, not just functional… "because Daenerys"). It might also reduce Tyrion's fretting over her going into battle somewhat.

  7. I would like to know more about Winterfell itself. The real maning of it's name, why it is so cold in the crypts, yet hot in the wall and the black pool neat the tree. I think this is important.

  8. I have heard some talk about the Kings of Winter rising from the Winterfell crypts. Wouldn't that be something if they are immune to the Night King's necromancy powers, but raised by another similar power? That'd be so exciting! It makes me think about how they have swords on their statues. I can see it as an element of decorum, but also serving a very functional purpose…to fight against the undead army. 😀 Too tinfoil or would anyone else be REALLY excited to see that?

  9. I'd like to see Jon on Rhaegal vs. the Night King on Viserion fight over the God's Eye, like the original battle during the Dance of the Dragons. It was so badass when the Rogue Prince jumped from Caraxes onto Vhagar and stabbed Aemond through the eye.

  10. Oh do you think Jon is immortal he not only came back from the dead but he was under that water for a long time Dany can walk through fire so yeah their a perfect match!! I can wait to see Jon face when he finds out he was NEVER a basterd!! Yes please your videos help a person like me get through GOT drought

  11. Baylish was a smart man what he said about Jon and Danerys alliances would be powerful if they got married so I don't understand why Tyrion was upset about them being together was a bad thing minus the incest 😂

  12. People have been speculating about seeing among the Army of the dead Benjen, Hodor and even Summer, (and I am horrified at the prospect), but if the North is overrun, we could see Ramsey, Roose , etc. If Winterfell is overrun, (and may our favorites escape, gosh I am a dreamer!), then we could see a Dead Ned! I am horrified at the thought of seeing so many of our beloved characters in the Army of the Dead, and so many we hated there, too. (Plus,I hope Jon is horrified and drops Daenerys, but that's just me! )

  13. I love your education guesses not just random crap it all makes sense I want to know why you think dany will get pregnant with jons child and if both of them will die its last season anything goes lol

  14. Good job, Pete. I'm hoping Danni doesn't get killed. I do see the foreshadowing though.

I did want to mention that there's a problem with timing in the show. The walkers appear to amble at about half human speed unless they are in combat mode. A normal person can walk at about 3 miles per hour. Less depending on obstacles such as hills, snow, rivers, Mountain ranges, etc. In our modern age most people think walkers can just get in there cars (metaphorically)arrive in a day or two. Horse back and walking are much slower .

The average was about 10 miles day for human walking and 20 miles a day for horses limited by obstacles. So, depending on the show runners, we do have some time for the characters and storylines to develop. I just hope they use the time wisely.
