Yesterday Game of Thrones released their Official Season 7 Promo which has caused a tremendous amount of debate again. At the end of the Promo we see another Blue Eye which many people think is the eye of a Blue Eyed Giant. In this video, I show comparisons of the Night King’s Eye and the Giant’s Eye that way you can see for yourself exactly which eye it is. Comment below and give me your thoughts. Who does the Blue Eye belong to? Let me know. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I agree it is most likely the Night King's eye. However, what makes you think every single giant joined the army marching on the wall? And what makes you think every single giant has the same two wrinkles, etc. on his (or her) nose?

  2. I still feel it is the eye of a giant. Nose wrinkles aside, the shape of the eye matches the giant. No one said there are no more giants in fact I think the FEMALES are somewhere north of the wall raising giant offspring.

  3. After watching it video I've changed my mind. I really thought it was a giant but it is the night king and it does make sense that the promo would have all the kings in it. Great video

  4. There's no foreshadowing of "living in the eyes of a blue eyed giant" in any of the books, if this becomes a plot point it is completely from the show's creators…and we know how those usually play out

  5. It's not Wun Wun. Jon would be the dumbest person in Westeros if he left Wun Wun's body unburned after he's seen what the Night King can do. Hell he made sure Stannis burned the bodies of all the dead after the siege at Castle Black was over.

  6. I never had doubt about the eye: it's clearly a White Walker's. As you said, three king were shown in the promo. The simpliest and most probable explanation for that final shot is the upcoming War in the (grim) North. Winter itself is not coming, but those who bring it southwards to conclude the fight over the Iron Throne once and for all.

  7. In the promo you are dealing with the main characters in the final stages of this story. Powerful, influential and jockeying for position and control of Westeros. All are Kings and Queens. Those FOUR main characters are Queen Cersei, Queen Daenerys, Jon, King of the North…. and the Night King.

No LESSER characters in the promo. No Tyrion, no Arya, no Brandon… and no giant. A random giant is not significant enough to be in this promo. Not even a dead one. Winter is Coming. That's the Night King's eye. He is the IMPENDING threat. He is their Nemesis. He is the one all the others and their minor squabbling and jockeying for Thrones is going to have to ultimately deal with. That is why HE is at the very end of the promo. That's no giant… that's HIM. Mr Death himself.

  8. I feel it's the Night KIng. The promo is showing all the leaders of each faction, or group. And Cersi's breath at the end? Since John and Danny are hooking up, just going out on a limb again, what if Cersi and Night King hook up? Cersi's so upset about losing her kids, maybe the thought of resurrecting them entices her to join the Night KIng. I know, it's way out in left field, but it's still a thought.

  9. Of course it's artistic license, but my common sense causes me ask where they find all of the firewood necessary to burn all of those bodies. No one wants to cut down the weirwood trees. And how do all of those thousands of people survive in the land of always winter anyway? Climbing a 700 foot wall is bad enough, but at least there is sustenance on the good side. Would anyone climb the wall with a bag of groceries? You could eat that much just to make it over the wall. Just sayin'.

  10. I agree, it is the NK's eye.
But about a giant wight: I think, it is possible, realistic (but probably we won't see it in the show, because of the CGI cost). Even Jon is dreaming in the books fighting against a giant wight. Why not? Not every dead giant would have been burnt. What is with the hundred year old tombs? How long does it it take in an always frozen land until the dead bodies are rotten so much, that there will be no flesh to keep to bones together and the NK won't be able to use them as wights? What do you think, how long were dead those wights when Bran, Meera and Jojen tried to get into the 3ER cave?
I think, the NK's army could number many generations of wildlings, giants and crows, because dead bodies are rotting pretty slow North of the Wall.
