Despite its stark contrast with other series in the long-running HBO franchise, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has emerged as a fan favourite. Both critics and fans have praised the shift in tone, the grounded storytelling and adherence to the source material. With the finale less than a week away, fans can’t help but wonder how long they have to wait to see more of Dunk and Egg.
While talking to the A.V. Club, Ira Parker said, “We are cutting some scenes together now, and the directors are seeing some of it, so it feels nice to see [season two] slowly come together.” Since the next season is already in post-production, the wait might be shorter than fans’ expectations.
