All You Have To Know About the sixth book ‘The Winds of Winter’ in the saga of ‘A Song Of Ice And Fire’, by George R.R ; The one that inspired GOT (Game Of Thrones)

Finally, there is some update on book 6, i.e., ‘The Winds of Winter’ of the breathtaking series ‘A Song of Ice and Fire.’ Yes, the book series by which one of the greatest series of all times’ The Game of Thrones’ is inspired. The fans have been intensely waiting for the talented author George R.R martin to complete this book before the tentative release of the season 6 of Game of Thrones in 2016.

It’s been four years since, and the author further kept delaying it, but his fans expected him to complete both his books, ‘A Dance with the Dragons’ and ‘The Wind of Winter’

to end before the decade end.  After the end of GOT, the author is very much relaxed and is completely ready to write his final and ultimate book.

As we all think that this Covid 19 pandemic has brought nothing good to the people, but George is here to prove us wrong. He had mentioned somewhere that he was supposed to travel to New Zealand to attend the annual World Science Fiction Convection ( CoNZealand ), but unfortunately, it’s been cancelled and is going to take place online. Since he is not travelling, Martin here is happy cause he got some ‘me time’ as well as time to complete his most- awaited novel.

Martin has also mentioned online that he would wish to complete the book by the ConZealand 2020, which is scheduled to begin on July 29 and end in August. The writer also amusingly quoted that, “But I tell you this – If I don’t have THE WINDS OF WINTER in hand when I arrive in New Zealand for Worldcon, you have here my formal written permission to Imprison me In a small cabin on White Island, overlooking the lake of sulfuric acid, until I’m done.” Yes, he so wants to get done with it and not keep his fans waiting.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THIS BOOK?

The book, ‘The Winds of Winter’, has huge expectations from all the fans. Some of the reasons include release after years and also the unexpected ending of the season of GOT (Game of Thrones). The fans were highly disappointed by the ending of the last season of their favourite series. They look up to the book for a ray of hope. And yes, the book is going to be a bang. There are plenty of surprises in store for the audience. George also published some of the chapters from this book online to keep his readers engaged. Martin also gave the book runners, moments like, ‘The burning of the Shireen and the death of Hodor’ as confirmed moments in the book. The book is going to have a much more different ending from the series. It is also expected in the book that Bryan’s journey will continue, while Stannis will engage in the Battle of Ice against Ramsay Bolton.

Each and everyone is waiting for this book to be released. Let’s think optimistically and hope that our wishes will be completed in late 2020 or early 2021, and our favourite author will fulfil our wishes.
