Something that keeps bugging me about this… when they stack the broken shards together to reforge the blade, they are stacking them on TOP of a metal plate attached to a pole.  Doesn't that mean that the new blade is mostly made out of whatever material was used for the metal pole?  Most of the material for the new sword didn't come from the old one…

  2. That moment where you purposefully break the thing you just spent days working on with old school equipment and techniques, just so you can prove a point and give some people on the internet a good show. That's some dedication.
