Maybe next time you should put a melee unit with the archers? That was quite costly for your precious archers……..

It's part of the lore that you use trebuchets! Also there the superior siege engine anyway…
On a more serious note: why not use Trebuchets? As far as I can remember you didn't use them in any of the recent campaigns.

Man, imagine the stories people would be telling about Gondor. The Sieges of Minas Ithil would go down into legend, along with the capture and defense of Cirith Ungol. The sheer number of Gondorians who have given their lives there is….staggering.

seeing how weak is Mordor inside the mountains, i think you should build the force you were going to, to atleast raid them, going north from the path near minas ithil or going straight to barak dur (the black gate may have a lot of enemies not just mordor near by).
You could even just break everything and move on.

2:30 last time they didnt and you missed on almost a full unit of cav
you should try to get some pikes into minas ithil. have your spearman hold the line in the tunnel while your pike kill the enemy from a distance. cause spearmen take longer to get kills.
Train up those now experienced archers back up to full strength. Great vid and the campaign is definitely swinging Gondor's way again 🙂
