  1. Both Jon and Dany are deep in love with one another because they are very similar in values and goals in life. Their love is based on respect, admiration and trust. And both are hot so it helps.

  2. More clues:

    1. Jon is terrified of fathering bastards. The dragon pit scene shows that he does not believe Dany to be barren but makes love to her anyways.

    2. Melissandre tried to seduce him and he was attracted to her (Harington said as much in an interview) and he turned her down. Lust isn’t enough to make him jump into sex. It’s not like he couldn’t find a willing and less complicated bed partner if he wanted to.

    3. Dany needs to make alliances through marriage. Jon has already bent the knee and is now her Warden in the North. That leaves her free to bring in another noble house – she shouldn’t complicate matters by sleeping with him but she does.

    4. It makes things just as politically messy for him as well because if the Northerners found out about their relationship, they would think he bent the knee from infatuation. They already question his decisions, mistrust Targaryens, and have Stark true borns available. Jon places the battle with the WW above everything. Said so numerous times with his “there’s no time for this/that” statements but jeopardized his mission anyways.

    5. When Dany lists the names of the heroes to Tyrion, notice at Jon’s name she smiles shyly but not with the rest. She also becomes emotionally overwhelmed when he resists her pulling away. And that look he gives her at that same scene – come on!

  4. upon first meeting they were both ATTRACTED to each other which is the surface of lust. However as they started to see the true nobility of character and valor reflected in each other this attraction soon evolved into admiration and respect. It wasnt until the fight against the wights they both realized they were in love. They have never met an equal in the realm with similar values of selflessness and honor. Danys never met any man who would dare challenge her and Jon has never met a Ruler who truly cares about the people. Ygritte and Drogo were not people they choose……it was survival and necessity forced upon them which evolved into love. However with Dany and Jon, they are soul mates and are unequivocally drawn to each other because of it. Jon is shy and reserved with women but the fact that he pursued dany by holding on to her hand and even knocking on her door? (so not something he would ever do) yet he DID for dany! It speaks volumes on how much he really and truly loves her.

  9. Yes they are in love and that scene with them looking in each other's eyes was shown to make that specific point and also Bran's he loved her and she loved him was the parallels between Rhaegar and Lyanna and Jon and Dany….nice video!
