Game of Thrones season 8 will be released in 2019 and what are the new theories that we’ve cooked up here at Alteori pertains to the Targaryen. Conquest and Rebellion will be released in December, until you get a little bit more history on the Game of Thrones universe as well as the different houses- but the one we discussing this video is House Targaryen. Our theory poses the question: Are Game of Thrones Targaryen related to, descendants of, or alternate versions of JRR tolkien’s elves in Middle Earth?

  1. possiblytolkien's elves but much more so, they are inflienced by the melniboneans from the prince elric fantasy series by michael moorcock. the melnibonean civilization- which was island-based, was corrupt, deeply involved with magic and had a connection with dragons that did not exist between dragons and elves in tolkien's work. prince elric himself who was an albino, (a trait that is common to possibly all targeryans|) refuses to share the corruption of others of his race, much like daenerys/ while daenerys dosen't have a weapon that drinks souls like elric's sword storm-bringer (a name almost given to geoffry's sword widdow's wail in the show) she does have a connection with dragons which is quite similar to elric's: the dragons are absent fro the world at times but someone wits unique characteristics can bring them back. in conclusion, it's tolkien but not only him/
