Why they tried to tie up seasons with the number of books was a failure from the beginning. I like the show love the books but the show came up short when the seasons were just 10 episodes and all episodes short of one full hour of actual content. I would of pushed for 20 episodes and both mid season and season finale being an hour and a half. With all that said, it would of had time to fit in this great warrior. Instead of being a prop holding a prop waiting to die

i like your videos.. they are very good.. and they make me laugh when you change your voice for the characters when you read.. hahah.. ive read all the books multiple times.. you have a good knowledge.. the show done fucked up ALOT its hard to say which is the worst but the Dorne storyline was one of those times

in my opinion, Oakheart was actually a very skilled swordsman, particularly from horseback, definitely a cavalryman, on foot, Hotah would kill him, but if Hotah had attempted to engage Oakheart whilst he was on horseback, I think he would have been destroyed, particularly since his head is often unprotected, and a crossbow bolt penetrating his shield and heavy plate? I don't think so.

I just don't get Aerys Oakheart's thinking there. He seems stupid to me, but others have theorized that he meant to die and that he switched the Myrcella's so no one would truly know where the real Myrcella was. Still reading the scene finally recently made me think this was such a stupid way to die. I haven't read any of the Dorne parts after this, but surely there is more of Hotah in the books??

I wonder if Hotah somehow has a major role to play in the Dornish Master Plan since from reading his POV chapters, it seems the only reason he is a POV character is because he goes where Doran goes, and making Doran a POV character would give away The Game.

Areo Hotah was a real badass character in the books. Damn, I was NOT AMUSED the way they killed this man off in the show (dying from a thrown dagger by Tyene)

As you've done tallest ASOIAF characters any chance you would do oldest? Bloodraven, Maester Aemon, Walder Frey. You could suggest the theory of Quaithe being Shiera Seastar? Making her a very old character aswell as being Brendan Rivers' lover.

I'm so glad your giving these smaller scenes some spotlight. This scene and the barristan one are some of my favourite small moments in the books and I think the show really dropped a ball by leaving this story line out. Anyway awesome video again and as all ways keep up the good work 🙂

lots of scenes from the book were deleted, like cold hands with Sam and Gilly. wish you would do one on coldhands. i think he is,was the 13th lord commander of the NW….maybe. or possibly he is/was a skin changer because he can control ravens. anyway a mysterious character.

I think all or at least most of Arrianne's friends narc'd her out to her Dad. Doran is the definition of Silent waters run deep. He was the tall grass from which The Red Viper struck. Her friends were in his pocket. Shoot maybe even Arys told on her. If he switched Mycella out with her body double friend and sent her into hiding or away then he went on this suicide mission he could guarantee none of Dorans people would know where she really was or get it out of him if he were captured.

How the show handled Dorne was so aggravating. The intrigues in Dorne are some of my favorite parts of the books.
