Avengers Infinity War – Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 1 – 2 Easter Eggs

This is starting to remind me of Stargate Atlantis… Kinda. Really nice!

Maybe Quake broke the planet apart because it wasn't the mind gem that overcame her but the Power Gem and that she was doing a Dr Who Osterhagen-type kind of contingency plan where she would have to destroy the Earth so that Thanos would no longer be a threat to them (thrown off into oblivion if not killed)

"we're One breath away from the extinction of humanity" could be about black bolt

while i did think this was pretty awesome. i did feel disappointed that they were not flung into space and were going to be doing some behind the scenes infinity war stuff that could somehow tie into the movies like when colson helped get the shield helicarrier to the avengers back in avengers age of ultron. ohh well big huge misopptrunity.

I thought the world exploded cause of the skrull vs kree war, connecting to Captain Marvel movie.

Went from Agents of SHIELD in space to Shield with a Doctor Who vibe real fast. Not a bad thing at all.

I hope we see coulson in captian marvel since it takes place in the 90s

But if Daisy was responsible for the Earth being "quaked" apart and traveled to the future how is the Earth still blown up?

it couldn't be Quake because she was transported to the future… she was gone in the current timeline so she couldn't have quaked Earth… unless, they're in a different timeline…

is the Kree woman with the killer balls from the comics?

they reminded me of Mr Terrifics T Spheres (I so wish that Arrow would stop nerfing Mr Terrific and his T Spheres)

They could introduce the baboons aliens from guardians of the galaxy comics .

Meh. I thought last season was the best. This one looks to be a step backwards. I do see Charlie's point that this is a way to avoid any reference to Infinity War (though the season will be ending just as the movie comes out). I bet we'll get further info that Quake didn't crack the Earth–It was Black Bolt.

I’m guessing the tv shows will intersect on Avengers 4.

So the Marvel TV universe recognise movie universe but movie universe do not recognise tv universe as canon. Good to know as i don’t give one fuck about Agent of Shield.

If Daisy and everyone else has been thrusted into the Future while they were in the cafe then it wouldn't be possible for her to be responsible of Earth's destruction due to the fact that she was plucked from that time period and into the future without her even doing anything from the start.
Think About it…
If Fitz knew that they were stuck in the future (implied by his postcard) then he was on Earth without Daisy and the gang, thus making Earth's destruction solely on the one who makes sense…Thanos. Sure they can go back in time at the end of this arc (or however long this future arc is) but obviously they'll have the knowledge of what's gonna happen to the Earth once they'll return so they'll try to avoid it. This is the first two episodes so anything can happen but as of right now this is speculation.
Well episode 5 is called "Rewind" so my guess is that they'll go back to the point where they started where Virgil is alive and save him and learn more about that book he had and what truly happened, after all Coulson did say he wishes he got to know him more or talked to him more (along those lines) possible foreshadowing if I do say so myself.

Don´t know… seemed dangerously close to Inhumans…

Deke said everyone tells a different history, so maybe in his version since he's been using the framework, she destroyed it, but really it was just Thanos who destroyed everything.

Possible way the Earth went kaboom:
1. Quake actually did it (pfffft right)
2. Infinity War (maybe they will get sent to the past to join the fight in avengers 4….here's hoping)
3. Kree – Skrull war
4. The Kree came for the Inhumans and Blackbolt went all "nope" BOOOOM!
5. Something or someone that didn't make an appearance in the mcu yet
….so bottom line…we gotta wait and see…it's only been 2 episode…

I really want the tv and netflix characters to appear in infinity war. I CAN'T WAIT AHHA
