  1. I forgot how well constructed this piece of music is. It's essentially you fighting what little humanity is left. The world you know is delving into madness and Gehrman offered to save you from it.

  2. The Hunter wants to take Gehrman's place to save him from suffering any longer, and Gehrman does not want anyone to share the same fate as he did and will carry the burden as long as he can. Such thing cannot be discussed through words but through spilling blood

  3. I will never understand you people, I try but I just can't relate. Gehrman is just an old man. The game did a shit job creating any kind of connection with him.
The game fails on many plot points and really losses focus mid-game. Still an incredibly fun game and great presentation overall.

  4. 3:59
When the violin jumps to dat E-string at 4:03. Unlike other violin strings (and all viola/cello/DB strings) the E-string isn't usually wound in steel, and it allows for a certain eerie tone compared to even the same note played on, e.g., the A-string. So great with the soprano-centered melody. And I usually detest soprano-centric choral music.

  5. man I remember meeting Gehrman at the start of the game and saying, I'm looking at the final boss right here right now, a complete shot in the dark, reaching him caused a mix of emotions

  6. Cuando luche contra Gehrman pense: "me voy a cagar en todo". Cuando empezo la musica, todo se calmo y ahora siempre pensare en la parte bella de este enfrentamiento, y lo que un solo gesto puede crear o destruir

  7. Venator
    Ah mi summus venata
Anima tor feci so vre re mal
    Venare insidiosus
    Mira tenebrarum
    Hic sic scitis miseriae aeterna

    Hunter
    Ah, supreme I hunted
I did it to cleanse the soul from evil
    (An) insidious hunt
    Wonderful darkness
This way I knew eternal misery

  8. The night that Gehrman joined the hunt. The night, that millions of feels rose up…. the night, where only one could survive. The night, where only one could be freed from the hunter's nightmare.

  9. Probably my favorite due to you being able to challenge him as well as any other but also due to the fact he's a well crafted character never gives you trouble really just help but ultimately the reason you are where you are so all in all major love but a bittersweet hate towards the end

  10. This boss is amazing. He gives you a choice die and wake up from this nightmare or challenge me and become the beast you truly are. I choose to fight him instantly and I regretted it. But I loved the boss entirely. The music is darker than most themes in the game. He's trapped by the moon presence to guide hunters to their fate. He's waiting for that one hunter to over come him and become the moon presence's slave or end the nightmare forever by becoming a great one. The story of this boss is truly beautiful. The game's lore is fantastic.
