Just so you know! This is NOT my theory, just a compilation of various theories out there and recent progression of the story on the TV Show!
This theory takes into account the possible theories over the years of Bran being Azor Ahai, The Last Hero, and Bran The Builder! Why exactly did the Mad King repeat “Burn them all”? Recent events with Hodor may confirm reasoning that the Mad King may not be crazy after all!

Jamie will kill cersei and by that creating Lightbringer! Jamie is Azor Ahai!
I don't think he will go back, i think he already has been back in time, i have the theory that bran is most of the characters in the show; I think Bran first time went back in time(this creating a new timeline and destroying the old time), and then he become the Night King. The time passes he get's born again, and then he goes back in time again (creating a new timeline, with Night King and now the Bran the builder) builds the wall… Then he get's born again, this time he goes back in time again, but this time he becomes the 3 Eyed Raven. And then he get's born again and we are living THAT timeline now… So Bran is; Night King, Bran the builder and the old 3 eyed raven! If this make any sense….
If he is…..than this story and the book sucks….Bran is boring
Why do I get the feeling that this is what season 8 will look like?
Mad King clearly was Mad, when Tywin Lannister began sacking King's Landing The Mad King said "Let Robert be King of Ashes" and wanted to kill the populace of the entire city just to spite Robert but was lucky stopped by Jamie.
I really like this theory. It makes some sense. Also, there is another piece of evidence that really leads me to believe this.
In both the books and the show during Aemon's death we hear him talking about his brother "Egg," Aegon V. Right before he dies he says I dreamed I was old.
This is super interesting. It was there first think that lead me to think of messing with time, and it happened before Hodor. I'm thinking that Bran isn't the only one playing this game and that Aemon or some other Targaryen is doing the same, and is responsible for the Dragon Dreams of the book.
It would explain why Targaryen Dragon Dreams and Greendreams are so similar.
Im still wondering bran can still time loop tho but bran cant be seen so how can bran be bram the builder when people in the past cant see him?
Question: where did Children get Dragonglass to create first White Walker?
this is a good theory but i just can't stand this guy's voice. he also sounds very unsure of what he's saying.
DAMN… These theories are fascinating! The more you think about it, the more amazing it is
i think it was blood raven that was in the mad kings head
I want him to be a dragon rider too so that Daenerys can see she.s not the only one who can do that. I mean I loved her and now she become so egoistic cause of dragons and Bran deserves something good, if he cannot walk he can fly!
but the mad king also roasted other people before he lost it
I disagree Jon is the most important character. He is the answer to the song of Ice and Fire. He is the Saver
why hodor? He is my favorite character on GameOfThrones.Whe he die, I almost cried T.T
It would be a horrible idea to make everything about Bran, imo.
Incredible theory!!!! Great work
What if Bran is the Night King? He built the wall to keep his final state (NT) at bay knowing what he would become. He put the magic in the wall. And the Night King has changed from how is was as Bran and cannot undo the magic. Maybe in becoming an Other, he isn't really human, though maintaining a humanoid form. He's not dead or alive, he doesn't think, reason, or act like a human. His motives might be more basic, like survival. He clearly has a code and structure to his world as an Other, but there isn't politics involved. Maybe this is part of the bittersweet ending.
don't think theres much doubt that the mad king was mad. didn't he end up raping his sister/wife? and torture and kill Ned's brother and father? that kind of thing is pretty hard to justify lol. If he wasn't mad he was still an awful and cruel king
This is the only plausible theory on the subject but nothing of it is not going to happen unfortunately…… Because the number of people who want to see butts and pumpkins outnumber that of those who care if the story makes sense or not…. And I don't think showing children's butt will be very appropriate….
Brans magic isn't whats giving the night king that magic, the night king left a mark on him not vise versa
I think bran is the nights king and the pact under the gods eye which he see's is him getting made into the night's king, he's trapped in the weirwoods and he keeps coming back in a bid to free himself of the imprisonment. it will end with bran burning the weirwoods while warged as a dragon me thinks.
I think George RR Martin must have been a huge fan of The Phantom Tollbooth as a kid.
I think that Bran will warg into Jaime, making him Azor Ahai, the Last Warrior. He will kill his
sister wife Cersei with his sword to save her from suffering (she'll get Wildfyre on herself). The
sword will be coated with sticky Wildfyre (Greek Fire), and therefore will be aflame. He will be
holding her by the neck, crying — not necessarily choking her, but it will look like that to the
time travelling green seer that creates the prophesy.
What do you think about this, Stark's always say Winter is coming (as Bran the builder is the founder of House Stark), could it be the biggest clue that winter here means the white walkers (or that a cold winter is coming and with it the White Walkers)?
Maybe Bran himself is the three eyed raven and he just travelled back in time to train himself.
Fire, Ice, Earth and air are elements which can be manipulated by Bran to travel through time but every time he does something bad happens. The formation of the white walkers is a direct result of Bran's' continual time travel. He can damage individuals by possessing them but over time he can damage the very fabric of the world due to his over-expression of travel in the north he creates a catastrophic event which then he tries to amend by building the wall. Over time Brans' use of his powers deteriorates his ability to take physical human form or he realises the damage he does and only takes the form of things which wont involve a person so that damage is not done to them. So he is forced to take up whatever form he can ie the raven, fire, and air….like the whispers in the wind. And even ice in the form of the white walkers. With increasing knowledge and time his ability to translate information clearly to people is hindered leading to strange priesthoods and fire worshiping cults all a result of weak and inaccurate transmission of information from bran to the people. Alternatively he could be a direct descendant of the Forrest children or his existence is due to the treaty signed between the humans and forrest children.
my theory is: OLD MAN IN THE TREE=BRAN STARK
i mean none of them can rely walk, and if bran can influence the time he could be bran the builder too…
and the voices in mad kings head are consequences of bran not abel of controling his power…
and all the prophecies were made by him when he already know what he was doing, and was trying too get every in place to defeat whitewalkers…
and the face three eyed raven made when bran called out to his father in the season 6 episode 3 was because he felt the exact same way as bran…
because they are THE SAME PERSON
i mean just saying
EPIC! I love Bran!
