I could write so many theories, ffs. Jon is the last hero leading an army of undead Stark Kings. Jamie is Azor Ahai and Widow's Wail becomes activated as Lightbringer. The other half of Ice, Oathkeeper, is also activated when the Wall falls down. Sam could be the last hero, finding out that dragonglass will also kill an ice dragon, and weirwood arrows will kill the fire dragons. Gilly is Nissa Nissa. Cersei is Nissa Nissa as Jamie plunges Widow's Wail into her, it lights up….and on and on. Needless to say, I'm stoked for the season and the release of WoW.

So….I've a question about the world of Westeros in general.

Why have they basically been living in medieval culture for 10,000 years? There has been very little innovation and technological improvement in that time, other than slightly more advanced weapons(steel vs bronze). There has been no renaissance, industrial revolution, etc.

You'd think that somebody would have accidentally invented a steam engine by now. Even the ancient greeks did it in our own world. Especially with the existence of the citadel and the maesters. With all of the knowledge they've collected and research they've done, you'd think they would have advanced more than they have.

Speaking of foreshadowing in older episodes….

The scene of Catelyn and Talisa season 3 episode 2 "dark winds, dark words" has always struck me as very important but I could never put my finger on it until rewatching it this morning.
The first thing being Catelyn's words " master luwin said if he made it through the night, he'd live, But it would be a very LONG NIGHT." Now, could that be a foreshadow of the long night to come and he lived to be the prince that was promised or azor ahai, or A way Martin tells without exactly telling that the birth of Jon directly causes the awakening of the white walkers?

Second, the mention of Jon Snows name seems to distress Talisa. Does she know more about Jon than stated in the show? The fact that Martin suggested changing Jeyne's character to Talisa to me shows some mystery. Talisa has the same looks and facial expression as the handmaidens in the tower of joy. Could Talisa be that second handmaiden in the tower that Doesnt show her face, using a ruby to cover her age or Talisas mother? They do both have the same hairstyle. Braided hair down or hanging to one side. Her Volantis origin could all be a lie.

Just some tinfoil thoughts. What do you think?

They call people in Westeros who have all the info,a spider. When old Nan says ice spiders big as hounds come in winter. The Hound will be in Winterfell,it is winter and hes gonna have a good deal of info for The Starks. Like,what the hell are the Starks doing with Littlefinger. He also has alot more to say about Castleyrock,Kingslanding and who was behind alot of bad doings to the Starks. Littlefinger is a goner.

About the crows are all liars: could mean Bloodraven lied to Jon? Or the crows of the Wall are not thrustworthy? In the books there is something about: the Wall will stand and protect us from the monsters beyond the Wall, until the Nighstwatch will remain true and loyal to their oath. I read somewhere in a comment, that if we take it seriously, then Ser Allister, Bowen Marsh and co. has ruined the magical protection of the Wall by betraying and murdering Jon as their lord commander. Anyway: it is true, that the NW had a chance only with Jon as commander to survive the Long night. I am sure, that the NW is a goner now, sooner or later, after betraying Jon. I just feel sorry for Edd.
About the Long night: yes: there will be ice spiders, and massive snow. But I don't think, it would last a generation. Maybe a year. Jon and co (the headquarter in WF) will work on ending the Long night as soon as possible. So yes: it will be brutal, but it won't last a whole generation.
But I wish, if the Walkers would go South too. I just want the foolish southerners, who always looked down on the Starks, to get know Winter and fear too and pay a heavy price for being so deaf to the NW's request for help. Honestly, I wish, if most of the South would be wiped out, and the most of the North would survive.

Jojen has said earlier that NO nights watch can stop WWs, NO kings and queens of westeros and their armies can stop WWs. This means Bran has a very important role in stopping them. Without Bran the war cannot be won no matter how big of an army westeros gathers or how big the dragons get. Bran has knowledge and knowledge is power. Even Benjen said when the NK arrives you will be ready and prepared to face him. It foreshadows that Bran will face the NK one way or other. Great video Kyle. Thanks. 😊

there are definitely wasted moments in this show..we have all accepted that..from bad pussy to guys sticking their fingers in another mans crack there have definitely been wasted moment ie most of sam and gilly.. grey worm.. missandei . pod and bron ect….but not in the first few seasons that's when they were in the book and in the book is good..
