King rob would have killed cersi, joffrey and the other two children, and jamie, if he'd found out the truth. he tried to kill 1 boy who was a stranger to him, to save his whole family. good decision. many men wouldnt have done that, then later their family would have been killed, they would fail to protect their family. jamie is smart and strong enough to protect his family
