It seems like the vestiges of the terror that hit us in the wretched year 2020 are still haunting us to this day. Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa, famous for playing Khal Drogo on the show, and also for playing the DC superhero Aquaman, has tested positive for coronavirus, soon after the London premiere of his latest film Dune.

The actor on his Instagram said that he “got hit with COVID” after going to the London premiere of Dune and spending time with a large number of people.

I got hit with COVID right after the premiere. There was a lot of people I met in England, so got a lot of aloha from people. And who knows?” how he got it, Jason said Friday, as per People magazine.

The 42-year-old star added that “either way, I`m doing fine. Thank you for all your concerns and love,” he said. “And, yeah, I`m just camped out in my house. Mahalo for all the love and support.”

He further shared that he is isolating with his roommate- skateboarder Erik Ellington.

Everyone wants to know how COVID is going, it’s going pretty good,” he said in another update, as he filmed Ellington doing tricks on his skateboard through the house. “Yeah, we`re having a ball,” Jason said with a laugh, as per People magazine.

The actor has not yet confirmed if he was vaccinated against COVID-19.

Let’s hope he recovers from the infection speedily. Send in your well wishes in the comments below!

Game of Thrones is and will always be one of the greatest TV shows of all time, and it keeps proving that time over time. Last year, Game of Thrones was voted as the greatest TV show of the 21st century by a poll conducted by Digital Spy. Recently, another such poll was held by BBC, and Thrones managed to secure a decent position in the ranking.

BBC Culture tweeted the list with the text, “These are the 100 greatest TV series of the 21st Century, as voted for by 206 critics from 43 countries. #TVOfTheCentury.” Game of Thrones ranked 5th on the list. The Wire was at the top of the list.

In total, 460 different series were voted for by 206 TV experts – critics, journalists, academics, and industry figures – who came from 43 countries, from Albania to Uruguay. Of these voters, 100 were women, 104 were men, and two were non-binary. Each voter listed their 10 favorite TV series of the 21st Century, which we scored and ranked to produce the top 100 listed below.

The annual poll by BBC Culture is conducted by film critics and industry experts from around the globe, who pick the best titles in a particular category. Though previous years saw listicles like greatest films directed by women and best non-English language movies, the curators decided to turn the spotlight on TV shows in 2021. This, keeping in view the role played by the small screen in the last two years during the coronavirus pandemic.

It has been quite some time since Game of Thrones finished its run on TV but the fever of ice and fire still excites a large part of the fan base across the world. More so because our beloved Westeros will surely return in different avatars; the most notable being House of The Dragon, a prequel based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire And Blood. The latest among such offerings is going to be a Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Set in Northern Ireland, it was teased for a long time and opening was delayed due to the pandemic.

Recently, The Linen Mill Studios website, where the official Game of Thrones Studio Tour is being developed, has been updated recently to reveal that they are holding numerous open recruiting days in a drive to fill a number of positions for the world’s one and only permanent Game of Thrones tour. Though announced back in 2019 with a prospective 2020 opening date, the global pandemic has pushed back the opening to what looks to be some time next year.

Among the open positions: studio tour guides, station personnel, payroll, and even the general manager. While some of the recruitment days have already passed, those in Belfast are still ahead and can be found below:
