your theory is star wars. You have to recal that has to happen mid series or earlier to make sense. Red Wedding is the GOT equivalence of that. But if HBO wants to kill off all the Dragons that way, fine. The Dragons are not the problem though.

I think Bran will have a vision about fragments in the future in which he may see these events and try to change it…..I think you can not ignore Bran in this chaos….

I feel like that is EXACTLY what Tyrion/Sansa would expect Cersei to do. Whatever plot twists are coming, I hope they're better than this 🙁

@Talking_Thrones It's a plausible theory IF the scorpion bolts were made of Valerian steel or dragon glass or both. Cersei doesn't know that Valerian steel kills White Walkers. Jon only told her about fire and dragon glass.

PS: everyone knowing Cersei, especially after seeing she lied, I do think they would be suspicious even with her men dying considering they would know she would have no issues with sacrificing her own men to get what she wants

Interesting but I don't buy it. First, there would be both Sansa and Jaime telling everyone not to trust Cersei, and eventually to accept the help only with the condition of Stark men being the ones handling the scorpions. Jon could be as naive as always and be willing to give her a second chance but there is no way Sansa, Arya, Jaime and Daenerys would believe her after seeing she lied the first time (not mencioning all the previous times). Plus, Bran could easily use his sight to check if she was being honest, just like he did with Littlefinger

Before planning this Cersei first need to kill Bran as Bran will be aware of all her mind games..

Won't happen – Bran would foresee it and warn Jon – the only way would be if Bran ultimately sees that both fire and ice magic must end and once the Night King is dead, the Dragons must die as well.

cersi is the main antagonist and not the night king. i think cersi will somehow be able to survive the great war with the whites. jon and company will be able to defeat them with or without her help. i think cersi will make her move afterwards when jon and company are wounded and weak. now that would be a more satisfying ending. the army of the dead is not as interesting to me cause they do not have the human elements that cersi has. people have so much stronger feelings towards cersi cause of that. watever happens i hope they will be clever enough to make a proper ending for all the characters especially the humans and not the dead.

Its a fantastic plan. If the show indeed plays out this way, it would save Game of Thrones from the disaster that was S7 IMO.

I Love this theory! One counter-point – If Sansa is somehow around, she might try to remind Jon of their discussion about never trusting Cersei–EVER!

Sercei has no clue the Nights King has a Dragon 🐉… so, she wouldn’t bring scorpion arrows to Winterfell to help them fight the undead. That wouldn’t make any sense. I think those scorpion arrows will remain in Kings Landing.That is where the backstabbing will take place. Excuse me sorry, that’s where 30 will try to take down the dragons. Maybe I’m wrong.

Sounds like a good plan. However, I could see Jamie and Jon, etc see them pointing the scorpions at Dany’s dragons and slay those men.

That would make for a rather dramatic battle if that happened. Since there are only 6 more episodes, cerci would need this kind of battle to take place in order to try to keep her place on the iron throne.
