When the head is all ready off , keep looking at the neck ..for a tiny fraction there seems to be some blood poiting upwards :).

Rly? Was CGI really necessary for the blood on the walls in the last scene?
Can someone help me on this? I want to become a vfx artist and a modeller and animator, but everytime I watch videos on vfx and 3D its always "CGI VFX" what exactly is CGI VFX? And is everything in cgi personally modelled? Im confused.
