  1. Best use of CGI I've ever seen! Makes use of the stunning natural landscape, but creates imposing but realistic elements, to create a believable but breathtaking world. This is the future of CGI and I'm so excited.

    question: if we can make whole scenes like this that look like real life in TV and movies, how come we have yet to see video games with similar graphics? Is the close up stuff too difficult? 'cause those dragons look amazing.

  3. The one glaring error in the effects that I've noticed is the shadowing on the dragons. When Dany is petting them, the shadow on her arms and stuff is usually pretty fake-looking. It's the one thing that's always jumped out at me. It's too bad, because the dragons themselves look great. I think they just need some more skilled compositors to get those shadows right.
