  1. First off I absolutely loved Wesley Crusher. That being said the reason he stayed on board may have had something to do with the fact that he was a minor and his mother, his only parent, was the ship's doctor.

  2. Never understood why Wesley Crusher was reviled until I realized that the adults who didn't like him were worried that star trek will devolve into a kiddie show like a few of the sci-fi series of before. I've never known a kid who watch the show who didn't like him. What I didn't like about the character was how obvious the writers and directors have no clue how to handle a kid during that era, no growth, made him too perfect of a child or throwing tantrums, etc. Wil Wheaton did the best he can for that role and as far as I'm concerned that character could've been done better.

How Star Trek handled child characters have gotten better I think by DS9 with Nog and Jake where the kid characters were treated with respect. Though it still sucks with portrayal of East Asians and South Asians. Remember Ensign Kim? Always an Ensign never promoted and character didn't really grow in that 7 years except for a couple of good episodes.

  3. It's not really the same level because the current Supergirl series isn't a classic like the others in the video, but my god Mon-El is killing that show faster and harder than a ferrari kills a pigeon.

  4. A toss between Dawn Summers and Kennedy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Good god.
Also Connor from Angel and Mary fucking Winchester from Supernatural. I also hated Sam Winchester for more than a few seasons but he didn't ruin the show.

  5. I didn't mind Scrappy on TV as a change of pace in the show but he was absolutely terrible in the movie along with the whole premise that ghosts are real.(abandoning the whole 'I would have got away with it too if it wasn't for those damn kids' as they reveal the ghost/monster impersonator in favour of the boing um Ghosts are real plot)

  6. Henrietta from Fringe, Future Trance from Andromeda, Adalind Schade from Grimm (season 3 on), The Potentials from Buffy, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff from OUAT, Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyager, Felicity from Arrow, Connor from Angel, Mon El from Supergirl, Scrappy Doo

  7. usually when they add 'the cute kid' it's to drag their ratings out of the dumpster… little ricky on the partridge family, the curly head girl on family ties (or whatever one with alan thicke was). when Fonzie jumped the shark… well – same thing.
