Unless you’ve been living beyond The Wall, you probably know that on April 14, “Game of Thrones” — the HBO fantasy drama based on Author George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series — will premiere its eighth and final season.
In addition to racking up awards, the wildly-popular series has been able to parlay its television success into retail riches. You can feast as if you’re sitting on the Iron Throne with the “A Feast of Ice and Fire” cookbook, defend your home like a castle with Arya Stark’s weapon of choice, the Needle, and even sip on nectar fit for Queen Cersei herself with the official Game of Thrones wine.
While swords, food, and wine are all fine — the best might be yet to come as far as sneakerheads are concerned.

As first reported by Sneaker News, Adidas is planning to release a full line of Game Of Thrones x UltraBoost 4.0. It reportedly features six sneakers that will be cloaked in the colors of some of the houses, groups, and figures of Westeros, such as the Lannisters, the Starks, the Targaryens, White Walkers, Night’s Watch and the dragons.
The shoes also feature a tab on the heel inscribed with a phrase related to each sneaker’s theme, such as “Fire and Blood” for the House Targaryen version and “Winter is Here” for the pair honoring House Stark.
The Game of Thrones–inspired sneakers have been a long time coming for sneakerheads. Rumors of the collaboration swirled last summer — but with the show entering it’s the final season, the time is now. GOAT Group confirmed the news and has the entire collection available on its GOAT marketplace ahead of their general release.
