What do Game of Thrones cast members do when not spending their every waking minute dodging questions about season 8? They book roles on other shows, go to weddings, and generally try to lead their lives…that we report on.

First up, Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, ahead of the US premiere of Aquaman on December 21. NBC put together a fun, kind of stressful promo for him.

Momoa plays to his strengths. Here’s another one where he channels Khal Drogo:

Sticking with actors whose characters died too soon, Richard Madden (Robb Stark) received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor today, for his role as Police Sergeant David Budd on the breakout BBC/Netflix show Bodyguard. The show also garnered a nomination for Best Drama Series, so it’s a big deal all around.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Madden said he is “just blown away.”

I never expected to get a nomination or anything like that. It seemed so far away and foreign to me. I’m thrilled for everybody who is involved in the show. To have the globes acknowledge and recognize that is mind-blowing. I’m still trying to catch up to the fact that it’s real.

Madden says the nominations will probably help get Bodyguard renewed for a second season. “We’re meeting tomorrow,” he said. “And we’ll know then if it’s going to happen or not.” Fingers crossed, everyone.

And here’s a picture of him covered in (fake, probably) blood:

Moving on, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) is starring in Last Christmas, “a holiday romance set in London.” Clarke will star alongside Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) and Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery) in the film from director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids). I’m not sure who she plays, but it involves wearing this outfit:

Speaking of outfits, check out the nifty one Sophie Turner wore at the wedding reception for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas:

Turner and fiancée Joe Jonas are set to be married in the summer of 2019.

Moving on the Maisie Williams, she’ll be a featured speaker for a TEDx Talk in Manchester in February; very classy.

TEDx uses the normal TED Talk format but focuses on locally-driven ideas. Williams will likely be speaking about Daisie, a social media app she and partner Dom Santry developed for young creative types to connect with each other.

Here’s something fun: Carice van Houten answers some rapid-fire questions for French website Biiinge. See if you can keep up:

Here’s how she answered the Game of Thrones-related questions:

  • Davos Seaworth or Jon Snow: Davos
  • The Night King or Donal Trump: Night King
  • Cersei or Daenerys: Cersei
  • Westeros or Les Pays-Bas (Netherlands): Netherlands
  • Arya or Sansa: Arya
  • Loup (Wolf) or Dragon: Dragon
  • Winter is Coming or Valar Morghulis: Winter is Coming

And finally, we send you off with this delightful video of Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Steve Waddington (The Tudors) pretending to sing “Tonight You Belong to Me.”

Play us out, Lena!

You’re welcome, world.
