#1 reason they aren't killing off Jon Snow, he's my favorite character and probably the most interesting overall to the viewer base,if they kill him off they have nothing. #2 the red lady came back, the writers kept her alive for a reason.#3 Sam will see Jon die as all friends do in GoT, it would be a little anticlimactic for Sam to only hear of his best friend's death and not see it, or not even see Jon as a White Walker. In conclusion Jon Snow will at least be a white walker if not resurrected by the red lady.
