Rejoice, Game of Thrones fans: there’s a new mobile app game on the market that will help you get through the Long Night between season 7 and 8. Game of Thrones: Conquest from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is now available for Android and iOS devices.
Warner Bros. explained in detail what players can expect:
Game of Thrones: Conquest is a mobile Massively Multiplayer Online strategy game that gives players the opportunity to navigate the dangerous political landscape of Westeros while establishing their house, creating their sigil and raising their army to march against rivals. Players can sabotage their enemies from within or march with their friends & bannermen into war, and can expect to see some familiar faces from the HBO series, including Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Petyr Baelish and more.
The headliner here is the “Allegiance System,” which allows players to “recruit allies from around the globe to have a fair shot at the Iron Throne and prove their loyalty to their lord or lady.” And then you can betray them and leave them to die. It’s basically a world war, but fun.

The game features 120 “iconic seats of power” that are there for the taking, among them Winterfell and King’s Landing. Once you’ve captured these places with the help of your allies, you’ll be rewarded with “military and economic upgrades,” but you’ve also got to defend them from interlopers. Succeed, and you can appoint your own small council and reward their loyal bannermen by making them wardens of a certain seat of power. “We think fans are going to love this new opportunity to test their battle and strategy skills while exploring the world of Westeros,” said Jeff Peters, VP of Global Licensing at HBO.
