Jon is NOT Azor Ahai. That would assume Dany is his Nissa Nissa. But Jon does NOT love Daenerys more than anything in this world. As Azor Ahai states: "know that I love you of all that is in this world." That doesn't sound like Jon to me especially that he still has family that he loves. As this video says, it'll be unlikely Jon will follow his romance with Dany after he finds out he's a Targ. LOVE is what makes this prophecy important… Who loves Danenerys more than anything in the world AND of all that is in this world?? Meaning Daenerys is all this person has left……….. If she is to die then this is more seasonable way to be. GRRM making the whole Essos solely for her just to make her die in childbirth sounds not so convincing to me. But I prefer all the others to completely vanish, having my favorite characters die is bad enough, at least in their death they can succeed their task, otherwise I would consider it as a 'bad' ending.

People are confusing tragedy and bittersweet.
Bittersweet would be Daenerys and Jon turning down the throne to live a simple life at the house with a red door with a lemon tree out front and raising their child to live a simple life. That and Jon never finding out who he is.
People dying and sacrificing themselves is a tragedy.

I think you nailed man. Danys vision of herself going north of the wall not even dressed for winter? I think Jon will plunge Longclaw or a re-forged Ice into her heart and she will turn into a wight – The Night Queen, just as The Night King was turned by dragon glass into his chest.
