Trial of the Flash…now Trial of Kingpin…pretty sure we will get Trial of Oliver Queen soon because that FBI doesn’t seem to give up.

Murdock's outing as Daredevil cannot be the catalyst for overturning Fisk's conviction. While I have not read "Born Again" or "The Murdock Papers", the scenario of Fisk going free because it is revealed that Murdock is the vigilante Daredevil would only apply if Murdock was the prosecutor in the trial against Fisk, which isn't the case because Murdock is a private attorney and not a state actor.  Given how Season 1 ends, Murdock doesn't even need to be outed as Daredevil for Fisk to go free if it can be proven that the testimony against Fisk was coerced. If anything, it would merit a retrial.  The Netflix series has done a much better job at handling the legal issues than previous Daredevil incarnations, so I don't see Murdock's identify being revealed to have any impact on Fisk's incarceration.

in the series Matt isn't a district or state attorney, so he wouldn't be putting any criminals behind bars, though?

You got Kingpin being released right off the bat. He'll take over while the hand is decimated and daredevil isn't around. DareDevil comes back to a city where foggie is ruined and kingpin has already consolated power.
