  1. Honestly I’m proud I played the souls series and love this game so much I wish that this wasn’t the end just after the final battle leaving you with this hollow feeling fighting this boss just had me in tears I just wish some people gave the game series a chance there’s so much beauty people don’t see in this game

  2. To me, this boss was boring, but once i read it's lore everything changed. I understand it was specially made for people who beat and loved Dark Souls 1. I wish i could've played DarkSouls 1 and 2 before, but that's one of the experience i will not feel. A regret i have. But it's a good and beautiful ending to the Dark Souls saga.

  3. My interpretation of the fire ending was that the inevitable could only be delayed for so long. It's not that you're unworthy of burning, it's that the fire literally has nothing left to give. The series begins with the narrator saying "One Day the Flames Will Fade". Yet humans were born in the dark. Even the gods, giants and lords evolved underground in the age of mists when the surface was ruled by the Ancient Dragons. This is not the end for the Dark Souls world, even if the games don't continue. Even without fire, humanity will live on in darkness, and in time will find their way. The First Flame was a crutch. It's time they stopped leaning on it and learned to walk again.
