  1. If someone lives in a densely populated community and has had packages disappear before I can see them signing up for in-door delivery. I like my neighbors, so I don't need it, but I bet there ARE people who will sign up.

  2. Amazon could simply train their delivery employee to spot the lock and you put the lock on a box to let them dump it there and you retrieve it then instead of having them wait infront of the door until you answer.

Its a good idea but done poorly really.

  3. the amazon thing isnt as stupid as people are making it out to be but the US's average home layout isnt exactly ideal but here in the UK many of us have front porches that have a secondary locked door inside giving extra security just put the amazon key thing on the Outsite door and your off to the races

  4. "…they replaced a number of axe-ors…" XD I make safety videos for a living, so I know how it feels to hear a speech error and decide it's not worth worrying about. Rock on, people 🙂

  5. You know, you give a really bad impression of Amazon Key but after I watched the video the idea is really quite solid and good. Considering you conveniently left out the part where part of the setup is having a camera monitoring your door. Anyone who thinks locking their door is going to stop a home invasion is fooling themselves.

  6. When I heard about Amazon Key, I just thought that it was something for safely delivering items when you're not there by leaving a securely locked package on your doorstep.

The fact that I didn't actually think that it would be what it is shows how stupid it is.
