Game of Thrones is ending soon — yes, yes, we know, it’s hard. But before the final premiere on April 14, there’s still a lot to look forward to. For example…
During the red carpet premiere of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Entertainment Tonight spoke to Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) about his time on the show. And while he reminisced about all the great times, he may have accidentally revealed the red carpet premiere date for season 8:
He said that he is excited to go the red carpet premiere “on the third,” but didn’t mention the month. March or April? We think March might be a tad bit too early, so we’ll go with April 3, which is 11 days before the season 8 premiere. Either way, it’s exciting to know that Momoa is attending the premiere event with his Game of Thrones comrades. “We’re all still family,” he said. Momoa recalled his time on Game of Thrones as happening during “the prime years of my life” and was glad to spend them with quality people on a quality show. We are too, Mr. Aquam…er, Drog…er, Momoa.
Speaking of Aquaman, Momoa also mentioned that he’s hopeful for a sequel to his recent superhero smash. “Why wouldn’t we do another one,” he asked. “I just became king, right? Not we gotta do some stuff!” Given the huge success of Aquaman, I don’t think he has anything to worry about.
