Game of Thrones has already wrapped up filming for the final season and is now under post-production. It all ended with a wrap-up party attended by all major cast members.
Many cast members including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams have completed filming their scenes for the final season. Recently, the director Miguel Sapochnik also wrapped up his shooting of season 8.
Miguel has directed big budget and larger action sequence episodes in Game of Thrones. He is known for directing episodes like ‘The Gift’ and ‘Hardhome’ in the fifth season and also ‘Battle of the Bastards’ and ‘The Winds of Winter’ in the sixth season.
Miguel recently tweeted:
“That’s a wrap for me on season eight. Goodbye Belfast and thank you. #GOT”

Although Miguel was absent for the entire seventh season, he will direct two episodes in the final season – episode 3 and the penultimate, episode 5. With the director’s record of directing big action sequences in the series, it’s safe to assume that both these episodes will be epic.
