  1. Interesting filming location speaking as a citizen of the Sheaf, the Doctor has always been going to places that are "hell on earth" but I never knew that the Time Lord would end up in Meadowhell! XD

  2. "Lost" is in quotation marks, because it's not lost like Marco Polo. It's lost in a different sense (due to the strike it was never finished, even though it was on its way) But what can I know, I'm not a native speaker.

  3. Dr Freedom, I'm shocked to learn of the death of Rodney Bewes from you, a fine English actor. Growing up in the UK during the 1970's I remember him in the sequel series called ''What ever happened to the likely lads''. I was born in 69 so I can't remember the original series from the mid 60's simply called ''The Likely lads''. I did see him as Stein in ''Resurrection of the Daleks'' in February 1984. His death though seemed to be over shadowed by the death of 70's superstar David Cassidy, both died on the same day, RIP to both.

  4. Interesting that Walsh was mentioned before Whitaker in the article. It reinforces the perception that he is the more popular one and is there to bring in additional or casual/skeptical viewers.

  5. The likeness of Jodie Whittaker to Kate Stewart is the first thing I noticed when people started talking about her potentially getting the role, and in the images we've seen since, the resemblance is just striking. I think earlier before we had the official announcement, I actually looked her up to double check whether she was the same person who played Kate.

  6. Not to be the grammar police, but there is more than 1 meaning to the word "lost." Besides 'lost and found,' there is the lost where someone goes into an operation and don't make it, they 'lost' the patient. So Shada was lost in the sense that it never made it on air.

  7. Doctor Freedom !!!

  8. I'm at uni in Sheffield and went up there this evening for a look. They'ed gone by then obviously but the view from the road they were on- Hunters house road, has a really good view of the cityscape. was clear to see why they used it.
