There seems to be lots of hate for the fact that it's Pycelle narrating this. I'm not sure why. Aren't maester's educates for years in name areas; including the history of the kingdoms? Plus, Pycelle is often called upon to recite historical precedents during the show. He's a quality character and seems like a reasonable choice for narrator here.
