Game of Thrones on HBO Max was third, propelled by the buzz around its new prequel, jumping up 63%, followed by Stranger Things and the long-running CBS (Netflix) procedural NCIS. House of the Dragon’s numbers, which only account for the series’ streaming viewing, ranked sixth.
The strength of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon appeared to have an impact on many additional well-liked shows on HBO Max, including The Big Bang Theory and Friends.
This week, Cocomelon (No. 8) on Netflix regained the upper hand in the ongoing competition for children’s viewing thanks to its 677 million viewing minutes advantage against Bluey (No. 9) on Disney+.
