Both Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa have moved on from Game of Thrones and are eager to promote new projects â the romantic comedy Last Christmas for her and the Apple TV+ drama See for him â but to fans of HBOâs mega-hit, theyâll always be Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo, the unlikely couple that found love in the wilds of the Dothraki Sea in the showâs first season.
Per Digital Spy, the pair will reunite on The Graham Norton Show come Friday, October 25. And while Iâm sure theyâll both talk about their new stuff, I hope and expect Momoa to bring up how angry he was when he watched Jon Snow kill Daenerys in the Game of Thrones series finale. Itâs preserved on tape for all to enjoy forever; mind the cursing, though.
âYouâre going back to what the f**k you did in the first place and you killed Khaleesi,â Momoa rages. âOh my God! Weâre gonna go to the bars and weâre gonna get in a fight.â
I feel lost. Iâm lost. What the f**k? Drogon shouldâve melted his ass. Ugh. And the goddamn bar is closed!
Draw on some of that rage and give us a good show, Momoa!
Other guests that night will include Oscar winner Regina King, there to talk about her lead role in HBOâs Watchmen, comedian Ross Noble, and singer Camila Cabello, but Iâll have eyes and ears only for Momoa and Clarke.
Close to home, both Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) will be making appearances this weekend at ACE Comic Con Midwest in Rosemont, IL, just outside Chicago. Itâll be fun to get their thoughts on the end of the show (particularly Harington, who hasnât said a ton about it) and what theyâre doing next. Find out more here!
