The world is often compared to a stage. Our lives as drama and we can be seen as characters of a story. The year 2021 was a hell of a ride. The theatres are getting ready as well, gearing up for a fresh start for 2022. And it seems Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke once again embraces her love for the stage, as she returns to the production of the play Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull.
The Seagull was in theatres back in 2020, but had to shut down due to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which shut down all kinds of public gatherings. She posted a picture of the pamphlet on her Instagram along with the following caption:
“Be still my beating heart it’s BACK!!!!! The seagull is coming back baby and it feeeels sooooo goooood!!!!!! YOU CAN BUY YOUR TICKETS RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND!…Oh I cannot wait to get on that stage and relive this magical production a few years wiser.. cannot wait to see you all there, happy happy happy new year you beauties.”
Clarke will be re-joining her Game of Thrones co-star Indira Varma (Ellaria) who was also a part of the play pre-pandemic. She seems to be really hyped up about returning to the theatre!
