You think people would be freaking out if they saw Jon Snow wandering around the streets of New York, but no one seemed too bothered.
Probably because they knew it wasn’t the King of the North at all but a rather small, incredibly feminine imposter.
And they’d be right, but they weren’t face-to-face with any old Times Square impersonator, they were actually talking to the Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke.
Yes, seriously.
‘The shop was out of Daenerys costumes because they were all sold out,’ the star joked before she heads out in what can only be described as the worst attempt at Game Of Thrones cosplay we’ve seen in a long time.
The actress is hilarious as she approaches members of the public to offer them a money-can’t-buy chance to watch the final GOT episode with her at a private screening.
Problem is, not one of them is a fan of the show.
And it is so awkward
‘I’m a Walking Dead fan,’ one woman tells Emilia, who isn’t even interested when she’s tempted by an ending reveal she could put on the internet.
In another bizarre scene, Emilia, still dressed as Jon, gathers Batman, Superman and Zorro and attempts to recruit them for the upcoming battle against the white walkers.
The motley crew have absolutely no clue what their new pal is going on about, and still don’t catch on when Emilia says – in a brilliant northern accent – that she is from north of The Wall.
Even as she wanders down the street humming the iconic GOT theme tune, no one clocks that they’re actually watching the Mother Of Dragons.
The highlight of the video has to be the moment we’ve been waiting for since the first series: the reunion of Daenarys and her beloved late husband, Drogo.
Sure, it’s actually a Jason Momoa as Aquaman doll, but it’s still a very touching scene.
‘Even as a toy he’s just… I mean he’s just got it hasn’t he,’ says Emilia, ‘I think I might just take it for later.’
We always knew Daenyerys had a funny bone. Shame she might be about to die…
