Emilia Clarke, 32, has been absent from Instagram for more than a month and she certainly didn’t disappoint with her new post.
The Game of Thrones favourite, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO show, uploaded a photo of herself on a break from filming her new movie, Last Christmas.
Emilia posed in the middle next to actress Dame Emma Thompson and director Paul Feig, with them all holding champagne flutes.
The star couldn’t have looked happier in their company as she flashed a huge smile to the camera.
Dame Emma, 59, pulled an hilarious expression whilst clutching onto a bottle of champagne with her glass in the other hand.
Emilia dropped a “spoiler” about the film and joked shooting scenes for the movie is “no fun”.
“Spoiler alert,” she captioned it.
“#lastchristmasmovie is NO fun AT ALL,” Emilia said alongside a laughing crying face emoji.
She continued: “#hellochristmasbreak #hellohangovers #goodbyeeyeshellosmiles @paulfeig and Miss Thompson you have my heart (and liver) forever (or till we start back up again in January).”
Emilia’s 18.3 million followers went wild for her image posing next to her new co-star and director with many commenting on her post.
One person appeared thrilled Emilia was working with Dame Emma and said: “Omg @emilia_clarke two of my Fav Actresses of all time!!!! What a Crew!!!”
Another said: “You seriously have the most infectious smile I’ve ever seen.”
A third was ecstatic Emilia was active on Instagram again and commented: “Miss you!! We don’t see your lovely face often enough on IG these days!”
Emilia was spotted in Regent Street in London this week filming scenes for the new romantic comedy with her co-star Henry Golding.
The Game of Thrones beauty was spotted dressed in a leopard print faux fur coat, with a pair of silver tights and chunky heeled boots.
Emilia appeared to be having a serious conversation with her co-star as they shot the scene in the busy shopping location.
The blonde beauty was also seen on a London bus as she braved the freezing weather for the film.
The movie will follow Emilia’s character, Kate, who is said to be notorious for making bad decisions, including opting to work as an elf in a Christmas shop.
Meanwhile, Emilia will be back on screen’s in April as Game of Thrones returns with the eighth and final season of the series.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO and Sky Atlantic in April 2019.
