Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 32, admitted she “cried like a baby” after filming her final scenes, but insisted being casted for new film Last Christmas got her back on track. She told the Daily Mail: “It’s over and I cried like a baby on the last day. I felt completely lost. It was very strange and wonderful to get this [Last Christmas].This part couldn’t be more opposite, because dragons ain’t funny.”
Emilia played Daenerys Targaryen – the mother of the dragons – for 10 years.
She added: “Ten years is a long time.
“It’s like losing an actual limb. I was 22 – a child – when I first walked on the Game of Thrones set. I grew up with her.”
Emilia will appear in the romantic film Last Christmas alongside Henry Golding later this year.
Spoiler pictures from film emerged earlier this week, showing the pair walking in Embankment, London.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Emilia shared a rare selfie with her fans as she revealed what her New Year’s resolution is.
In view of her 18 million followers, she seemed in high spirits as she sported winter attire while stood on a beach.
The blonde beauty captioned the picture: “Just for the halibut.
“I’m resolving to try to laugh more in 2019 than 2018.
“Join me if you feel like it. #youareyourownbestbetbaby.”
Many of her social media fans flocked to her page to comment.
