What are the stars of Game of Thrones up to over two years after the show? Let’s find out, starting with Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), who is very excited about her new Clinique lipstick:

Clarke is a Clinique brand ambassador, so obviously this is an ad, but I’ll be damned if she doesn’t sell me on the idea that she’s thrilled about this lipstick. But if she can’t even tell she’s wearing the lipstick — and I don’t see a difference after she puts it on — what’s the point of the lipstick in the first place?

I feel like I’m out of my depth on this one. Moving on…

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson thinks he’s a Viking in Beard Struggle ad

Speaking of Game of Thrones actors cutting ads on their Instagram pages, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane) did a pretty funny for Beard Struggle, which sells products to help men grow thick, lustrous beards:

Also, Björnsson has dropped a ton of weight since his days as a professional strongman, mostly in preparation for exhibition boxing matches. Can you imagine stepping into the ring with a guy who stands at 6′ 9″ and nearly 350 lbs? Good luck.

Before we move on from advertisements, have you seen that very dramatic Calvin Klein fragrance ad with Richard Madden (Robb Stark)?

Now you have.

Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) is mounting a “comeback as a musician”

Here’s an unexpected one: did you know that Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) is a musician? He is, and he’ll be part of a concert alongside Luke Elliot in Oslo on September 22.

Hivju’s band is called The Garbage King. I could not find more info on them, like what Hivju plays, with a cursory search, but I’m picturing it’s him in his Tormund Giantbane costume blowing on a huge horn.

Finally, John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) announces that he’s joining Cameo! Available for birthday messages, anniversary celebrations, and what have you!

Bradley is currently working on the sci-fi movie Moonfall with Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson and Donald Sutherland.
