Emilia Clarke has seemingly confirmed Game Of Thrones are filming multiple endings to the final season to keep secrets on lockdown.

While it’s become a common courtesy to prod the cast of HBO’s fantasy show for any morsel of information about the show’s ending, Clarke might have given the game away that, actually, none of the cast have a clue what’s happening at all.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about her reaction to seeing the show’s end, Clarke said: ‘I don’t know that I even do now. I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us.

‘I’m being serious. I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us.’

She added: ‘There’s lots of different endings that could happen; I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen.’

HBO Programming President Casey Bloys previously said they’ll be shooting multiple endings to the show, but it’s been a cause for contention after cast members have described being emotional reading the final script.

So what’s the moral to this story? Who can we believe anymore? Considering Kit Harington became a renowned liar during the ‘Is Jon Snow dead?’ phase, we’ve learnt never to trust actors ever again.

Shows like The Sopranos and EastEnders have all pulled the multiple endings trick with varying success, so we’ll have to see how Game Of Thrones fares if we can believe anything more.

Game Of Thrones season eight is expected to release in 2019.
