Emilia Clarke finally wrapped Game Of Thrones after eight seasons last month and she’s been enjoying a well-earned break ever since.

The Hollywood star shared an idyllic holiday snap on Instagram at the weekend, and she couldn’t look happier.

Stood triumphantly on the roof of a jeep, Clarke has one arm raised to a clear blue sky (beverage in hand, obviously).

Fans were quick to draw comparison to New York’s famous landmark the Statue of Liberty, as Clarke’s pose closely resembles that of the Lady in the Harbor.

One follower commented on the photo: ‘Did they replace Lady Liberty with a better statue?’

While another joked it should be renamed ‘Emilia of Liberty’.

In the caption, Emilia said: ‘Goes on holiday once? Comes back fully spiced.#letthegoodtimesroll #butnotoffacliffwithmeontheroofplease’.

Earlier, the Mother of Dragons actor posted a snap of her dipping her toes in the ocean for a spot of fishing.

Referring to wrapping Game Of Thrones season eight last month, Clarke wrote in the caption: ‘Who knew the end of something could bring about the start of something very good for my brain…. Niente.’

She added: ‘I feel giddy and light after being suspended in a two week state of bliss sponsored sunshine.’

You’ve earned it, Emilia!

However, Game Of Thrones’ upcoming final season might not be the last we see of Westeros on screen.

Recent attention has surrounded the planned spin-offs, with HBO releasing the first details of an untitled series from George RR Martin and Kick Ass screenwriter Jane Goldman.

According to the official description, the show will take place ‘thousands of years’ before the events of Game Of Thrones, and will show the descent from the Age Of Heroes into its ‘darkest hour’.

The release continues: ‘Only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.’

Game Of Thrones’ final season is expected in 2019.
