Game Of Thrones had a triumphant Emmys night, scooping nine awards as the final series approaches.
The 60th Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Monday night and saw the cream of the TV crop descend on Tinsel Town, all vying to get their hands on the coveted trophies.
After GOT, the next biggest winner on the night was US TV show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, about a 1950 housewife who turns to stand-up comedy, with the series scooping ones less gong than the HBO series.
British actress Claire Foy won the best actress gong for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix series The Crown, but her co-star Matt Smith, who plays Prince Philip, lost out to GOT star Peter Dinklage in the best actor category.
