Alec, I really enjoy watching your videos. Could you show us more of the contract work that comes into your shop. I would like to see more of the real day to day working of a blacksmith shop.

well I had a commit up here I guess were not suppose to talk about Sam. Oh I said it. Old shop Old friends get rid of it all. too bad.

a true blacksmith definitely doesn't throw away metal!!! especially old post vices and huge adjustable wrenches!!!

Take ALL the metal!
Any you cannot use can be Craigslisted or sold as scrap.

Make a Barker street forge T-shirt as a memorial plus it's a nice way to say goodbye to the forge!

How you and your team can produce these day by day with great quality and an enthusiastic attitude is probably the most impressive thing about this channel. It's surreal.

Kinda miss that place. I miss the videos of you working over the anvil as you talked about it.

Alec steele. I love your style your vids and all that you do. I know a business is hard to get going and grow, this hard to say but what did or do you do for steady income at least at first, did or do you have regular customers that keep the lights on if you know what I mean?

You've got an unusable, unsalvageable mold farm – er, fridge – you lifted up onto a shelf instead of hauled off to a dump. You're either way too lazy to make a dump run or a hoarder. And you have a couple years of videos proving you're not lazy.

you realize those are flat surfaces right? they're going to collect clutter and stuff and things. eventually you are going to have to spend an entire youtube video on how to clean up your shop.

In Canada it is illegal to store or throw away a fridge or freezer with the door attached. The door has to detached. They are very serious about that. A few kids each year die because they were trapped in side one.
