Filming for the mega-blockbuster Fast and Furious 9 is well under way in the Scottish capital and some famous faces have began popping up in the city.
Edinburgh locals have already bared witness to some hair-raising stunts after the cameras started rolling, with actors jumping from windows and plunging from bridges .
But now the real stars of the film are here and it hasn’t gone unnoticed with Games of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel arriving in town over the weekend – and she’s brought her dog too.
The actress, who plays Ramsey in the film franchise, took to Instagram sharing photos of her pooch’s visit to Edinburgh, taking snaps outside the National Galleries of Scotland on The Mound
In a post that has been liked over 70,000 people, she wrote to her 5.6 million followers: “Went on a pretty scenic walkies this morning.”
But Nathalie isn’t the only star to have gone sightseeing in the city. American rapper and actor Ludacris also featured photos of himself outside the Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle, writing: “I finally found my home in Scotland.”
The film – which is set to be released in 2020 – will also feature the likes of Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron and Michelle Rodriguez. So you could soon find yourself walking past Hollywood A-listers in the Cowgate.
There are a number of road closures and parking restrictions in place as filming gets underway for a second week, which you can find here.
