The finest athletes in the world have gathered in Pyeongchang, South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. The culmination of years of practice and ambition, the Olympics serve as the highest test of an ahtlete’s skills. One man, Germany’s Paul Fentz, chose the platform as his chance to display his love for Game of Thrones. Oh, and figure skating. Watch below.

Skating this past Friday, Fentz debuted his performance dedicated to Thrones’ own Jaime Lannister. Donning a Lannister inspired outfit, Fentz skated to music from the season 7 soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi. Fentz’s garb focused on the details, as the skater wore one glove, complete with a small red piece of cloth to represent the loss of Jaime’s sword hand. Magnificent.

And although Fentz did not manage to take home gold at the Olympics, he previously took home the gold at the German Figure Skating Championships, held this past December. House Lannister approves. You can watch Fentz’s performance at that event, below.

Fentz might not have been successful at the Olympics, but we salute his love of Game of Thrones. And Fentz still did better than anyone from Westeros  probably would have.
