For years, we’ve always thought that the Beast in Beauty and the Beast was made into a monster so he could learn a lesson about respecting others and loving people for what’s on the inside…but we’ve been wrong the whole time! Dissecting the film’s lore, it becomes clear that the Beast isn’t the evil prince he was made out to be, but actually just a little boy who was deceived at a time in his life when he was the most vulnerable. Fans of Beauty and the Beast have loved this story for so long…but have overlooked ONE crucial plot detail!

I heard theory's that PrinceAdam (the beast) was 21 or around then wen he was cursed and a part of the curse left him and everyone cursed to stop aging until possibly the last petal fell
That changes everything
if the beast did let the encandress in she proply would have cured him anyway for letting in a stranger so great
Heeeeeeeey MatPat, I'm a big fan and love watching your film/game theories. But I was wondering (if you read this) if you would do another Beauty and the Best theory but with the animated movie and live action movie lore. The live action version has so many more thrown in details that I think would be really cool to find a theory on. Thanks for reading 🙂

Belle doesn't have Stockholm syndrome due to one fact. Belle traded herself for her fathers freedom, she isn't captured. Beast isn't her capture. Then they end up having a high propincuaty, thus falling in love.

For my brother birthday ( he was turning 21) we watched beauty and the beast. It was mostly because my little sister wanted to watch it. We have never seen it but when it got to the part about the beast turning 21 and staying a beast, I said " Well . It's too late for you to turn back." And w laughed. Then my dad said. "Well. He was always harry… and ugly." We all laughed so hard that I had to stop talking for a while.
Every time I watch a Flim Theory video, every time at the end of the video, I expect: "But hey, that's just a theory, a GAME theory." But it's a FILM theory.
The goddess cursed everybody else so he couldn't find love that quickly.

just saying I completely disagree of your theory because people didn't live very long back then and he was a Sovereign Prince not a regular prince. so he probably was a kid because his parents died early and they become rulers at a really young age. In the real life version of Beauty and The Beast it tells you that his father turned him into something bad then his father died leaving him prince.
